Elephant Alphabet – A

August 2, 2011

My one-month project is to post a cartoon everyday about elephants, using the alphabet as a framework. For each letter of the alphabet, there will be a word that describes elephants (lovely creatures).

A – Age

A - age

A is for age

Age and size determine an elephant’s pecking order in the herd. Usually the oldest and largest female is the leader of the herd. Elephants live in very close communities of females and their offspring. They tend to be cooperative and even share babysitting duties for offspring of other females in the herd.
